Amtrak Radio Communications Project, 12 Rail Stations Nationwide

Project consists of the design, installation and testing of Radio Communications Equipment in twelve (12) Amtrak Rail Stations nationwide as part of the ARRA Stimulus Grant Package.  The new system provides two-way radio communications between trains entering the station and station operations with connection to Amtrak Master Control Center in Philadelphia via a dedicated fiber optic and microwave radio communications network. EJC (formerly Hanson Telecom Group) provided Project Management, Engineering and Construction services.

AT&T Optical Amplification Infrastructure Deployment, Various Locations Nationwide

Multi-state program to provide engineering and construction management services to upgrade the capacity of AT&T’s fiber-optics network. Our team was assigned 50 pre-cast buildings, varying in size from 300 square feet to 1,200 square feet along existing fiber optic routes throughout the 48 continental states.

National Cell Site Modification Program, Northern California

National contract with Ericsson for the deployment wireless communications network overlays within the United States.  Scope of work included site acquisition, A&E services, equipment installation and design build services in support of network equipment installation

Northern California cell site modification program was performed for AT&T / Cingular. The projects include upgrades at over sixty (60) sites in the provision of A&E and design/build services in Northern California.  Sites include primarily existing ground and roof top installations in the San Francisco Bay area.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security Primary Entry Point (PEP) Project USACE Omaha District FEMA Emergency Radio Network, Nationwide

Our team provided RF, site development, electrical and mechanical engineering for the Primary Entry Point (PEP) emergency broadcast network throughout the United States.  Project includes:

  • Site Surveys
  • RF Design and Selection of AM/FM Broadcast Systems
  • HEMP Protection of Facilities
  • Facilities Design including Transmitter and Power Plant Buildings and Communications / RF System Integration
  • Cost Estimating and Construction Support Service

U.S. Marine Corps Tactical Video Capture System (TVCS) at 15 Bases, Worldwide

Under a contract awarded to prime consultant L-3 Global Security & Engineering Solutions (L-3), EJC (formerly Hanson Telecom Group) served as the lead architect engineer for Kratos/HBE – one of several project partners – to assist with the implementation of the first "intelligent" Tactical Video Capture System (TVCS) at 15 U.S. Marine Corps bases worldwide.
