EJC International was established in 2002 by Edward (Ted) J. Collora, PLS. In 2017 Richard S. Lafortune, P.E. joined the firm and Technical Systems Engineering Consulting, was formed
to provide services in New York. Also in 2017 EJC/TSE acquired the Telecommunications Group of Hanson Professional Services. As veteran-owned small businesses, TSE and EJC provide design, engineering, construction and program management services for telecommunications projects worldwide.
Ted Collora, PLS
Before starting EJC and TSE, Ted was a senior vice president and telecommunications market principal for Hanson Professional Services Inc., a national consulting firm providing engineering, planning and allied services. Ted previously owned BARC Group Inc., a telecommunications engineering consulting firm in New York that became part of Hanson in 1997. Ted has nearly 40 years of experience as an executive, senior engineer and project manager in the telecommunications industry.
Richard Lafortune, P.E.
Rich is a licensed electrical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. He joined Hanson in 2002 and worked closely with Ted on numerous projects for various clients. He has extensive experience designing power distribution, lighting, grounding and life-safety systems for telecommunications, governmental, commercial and industrial facilities worldwide.
